Places I've Never Been

A friend challenged me to create a show of places I’ve never been, so I did.  Instead of vast places, I decided to (mostly) explore common places, even places within my home.  As a result, I shrunk myself to the size of a dust mite, shoved myself into my teapot, and attended a beach party inside a Funyuns bag.  Larger, more abstract places included a garden of Resurrection Ferns, in a world without end, and as a guest to a squirrel party.  These are mixed-media pieces of paper cut-outs, acrylic paints, pens, colored-pencils, gold leaf, sequins, glitter, and dried flowers.
